Time Plan

Week B, 26th – 30th September
- Finish introductory post
- Research into existing media, for example children’s TV show opening sequences, E4 idents, etc
- Present ideas (ancillary task, research) and analyse three opening sequences/idents that I like and explain why I think they are successful or not
Week A, 3rd – 7th October
- Start audience research, create questionnaires and surveys to find out what my target audience looks for in an opening sequence
- Start to deconstruct 3 DVD children’s front covers to find out what would be appealing to my target audience (colours, font, what stands out most on the page)
Week B, 10th – 14th October
- Deconstruct 3 magazine children’s front covers
- Plan my magazine front cover using the deconstructed covers for reference
Week A, 17th – 21st October
- Plan story line and ideas for my opening sequence (how I’m going to do it, referring to research, etc)
Half term, 21st October – 1st November
- Take pictures and start to create my opening, experimenting with movie maker, editing and playing with my video/animation
- Upload video to YouTube
- Take pictures for DVD/magazine cover
Week B, 1st – 4th November
- Start planning my DVD cover, do mock ups of how I’d like it to look
- Create DVD cover using photoshop
Week A, 7th – 11th November
- Analyse DVD cover once added to blog
- Start mock-ups of how I want my magazine cover to look
- Start to create magazine cover
Week B, 14th – 18th November
- Carry on and finish making magazine cover
Week A, 21st – 25th November
- Finish final production and evaluation using specific questions
Week B, 28th November – 2nd December
- Make sure animation is analysed and finished to a high standard
Week A, 5th December – 9th December
Week B, 12th - 16th December: hand in work.
- Make sure everything is finished: DVD cover, magazine cover, etc and add the finish touches (e.g. more analysing, check through
