My name is Olivia Sanders, I go to The Elizabeth Woodville School (South Campus) and I am studying Media at A2 level.
The task I have chosen to complete is "A selection of materials related to an original TV drama, to include the title sequence to the TV programme, together with two of the following three options:
- The front cover of a magazine for the series;
- A DVD cover for the series;
- A radio advertisement for the magazine."
I chose this task as I thought it seemed the most appealing and exciting to do; I enjoy working on Photoshop and feel this task will enable me to expand on my skills and develop them more, and also it will be interesting to be able to experiment and work with MovieMaker. What interests me the most about this task is that I'll be able to start working with movie maker; I think it'll be interesting making the stop-motion video, and also, in last years media, we made a magazine, and I enjoyed doing that. This task differs from the AS brief and genre as we have never been asked to work with MovieMaker, so it's an entirely new thing. Also, the magazine we were asked to create last year was targeted mostly at teens and young adults, whereas this one will be targeted at younger children.
